La psicopedagogía es una interdisciplina aplicada que estudia el comportamiento humano y los fenómenos psíquicos en el marco educativo.

El objetivo primordial de esta ciencia es el satisfactorio desenvolvimiento de la persona en el ámbito educacional al que asiste, por lo que trata los problemas de aprendizaje, la orientación vocacional, el apoyo a necesidades educativas especiales (ambientales, socio-culturales, cognitivas) y la estructuración del currículo y ambientes educativos en diversos contextos.
